Hello there,

I’m Dr. Sharon Rajvansh Mittiga.

Clinic Director/Principal Psychologist

Educational & Developmental Psychologist

Hi, I’m Sharon, originally from Mauritius, the most multicultural place on earth, where I grew up speaking English and French. I’ve been living in Australia for 22 years and am a native speaker of both languages. I can also understand some Hindi, though I don’t speak it. I’m a Monash grad with a Master’s in Educational and Developmental Psychology and a PhD, but it’s my own path that really shapes why I’m here. School was a rough ride for me—wrestling with anxiety and focus left its mark—so I know firsthand how overwhelming that can feel for kids, teens, or adults. Now, as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, I’m here to walk alongside families, couples, and individuals, helping you make sense of life’s twists.

In my boutique clinic, I offer assessments for Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties—detailed reports that cut through the confusion, delivered quickly when time’s tight. For anyone battling anxiety (like I did), I share practical tools from CBT, ACT mindfulness, and schema therapy. For couples, my Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy helps you find your footing together—see my for the details. It’s all about building a safe, open space where your growth comes first.

I keep learning through ongoing training, but outside work, I’m happiest with my family—exploring new places or powering through a CrossFit session with that bodybuilding thrill. Fancy a read? My blog has one post on my school struggles just to shed light on ADHD-like traits. Mostly, I write there to share tips and insights for you. Let’s team up for your journey—I’m with you all the way. Workshops & Professional Development.

Recently (August 2024), I had the privilege of leading a 2-hour Professional Development session titled “Supporting Young Learners: Intervention Strategies & Behavioural Management” for kindergarten teachers, where I shared practical strategies for managing classroom behaviour, creating effective social stories, and fostering emotional regulation among young children. My work in this area highlights my commitment to supporting educators and enhancing learning environments for children.

Unravelling the Colours & Symbolism of Our Logo.

Our logo embodies the core values and approach of our clinic towards mental well-being. Here's a closer look at its elements:

The Puzzle-Piece Brain:

At the center is a brain made of four puzzle pieces, representing the complex nature of our minds. Each piece signifies different aspects of mental health, with varied shades: two grounding greens, an energising orange, and a calming blue, highlighting the diversity of mental processes and emotions.

The Colours:

Green symbolises growth and healing, chosen in two shades to represent the transformative journey of understanding and nurturing the mind. Orange represents enthusiasm, energy, and our passion for mental clarity and health. Blue stands for trust and calm, reflecting our commitment to providing a serene, supportive environment. Purple embodies wisdom, creativity, and the importance of individual insight, aligning with our mission to help clients uncover their unique strengths and potential.

The Embracing Hand:

The hand cradling the brain symbolises safety and care. The fingers, in shades of purple, orange, green, and blue, represent our holistic approach, emphasising the importance of addressing all aspects of mental health.

The Spectrum of Emotions:

The coloured fingers capture the richness of human emotions: Purple embodies wisdom and creativity through introspection and problem-solving. Orange reflects enthusiasm and joy, sparking excitement and motivation. Green symbolises growth and healing, inspiring hope and resilience. Blue conveys trust and calm, fostering peace and reassurance.

Together, these elements tell a story of diversity, care, and connection, reflecting our commitment to supporting your mental health journey—nurturing and celebrating your unique story every step of the way.
